Brian Smith is a mobile industry and business expert with more than 15 year’s experience leading strategy, development, and product lifecycle management in the telecom industry. As the Chief Operating Officer at Pinsight, he currently oversees product development, revenue growth and business operations for the company, as well as partnerships with brands, marketing agencies, data providers, and other media businesses.
Prior to joining Pinsight, Smith managed the Internet and Data product teams within the Sprint product and technology development group. He also led the organization responsible for driving Sprint's strategy and deployments as it relates to mobile commerce, mobile wallets, search, mobile advertising, storefronts and carrier billing activity.
He is a regular speaker at various mobile industry events and was named to the Kansas City Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 List in 2017.
He also serves on the board of an educational non-profit and the Catholic Schools Foundation and Board of Trustees. Smith has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA in Business Administration from Baker University.
